SECTION XTHE CONSTITUTIONThe Constitution shall be amended at any IUS Congress by a majority of 2/3 of the total number of full and associate members of the IUS. Amendments to the Constitution may also be made by a referendum among full and associate members of the IUS and shall require the same majority. The by-law on "referendums" shall further detail this.This Constitution shall be translated into the languages of all the countries having student organizations affiliated to the IUS. For purposes of interpretation, the official texts in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish shall be authoritative. NOTE: The above Constitution was duly ratified by
an overwhelming majority of delegates at the World Student Congress
on Tuesday, August 27, 1946. |
